This Large Red Slug is about 12cm long. The right hand image shows the mantle area with the large aperture (pneumostome) into the slug's lung. The four tentacles at the front are hollow structures that have a muscle that can contract to turn them outside-in. The small, front pair are associated with smell while the longer tentacles bear a pair of simple eyes.
