The 2013 Nest box Diary Annual coverage of the events in our nest boxes through the year. Using cctv cameras, I monitor a Blue/Great Tit box, a Blackbird site, four Swift boxes, and three House Martin nests. While the House Martins have not returned for a few years we have had several pairs of Swifts nest successfully, although poor weather had an adverse effect on bird arrivals in 2012 and we had only two of the three pairs from 2011 return. They nested successfully and both pairs have now returned for the 2013 season. Go to latest entry - August 7 - The last of our Swifts have now left us |
