Chapters 1/2 - January .. A largely dull,
cold, but dry month
Chapter 3/4 - February .. Siskins, Late flowering snowdrops & very little
snow
Chapter 5/6 - March.. Spring takes its time, but nestbox activity
starts
Chapter 7/8/9 - April.. Deer & Adders in Poole, Spring makes
progress in garden
Chapter 10 - May..
The Martins and Swifts return and start nesting
Chapter 11/12 - June..
Lots of insects - solitary wasps/bees & 1st Cinnabar moths
Chapter 13/14 - July..
Hot & Dry, fascinated by a Apple Leaf Miner
moth's caterpillar
Chapter 15/16 - August..
Some heavy rain -not enough! Goldfinches are regulars
Chapter 17/18/19 - Sept .. Little rain, social/solitary
wasps, & a visit from the BBC
Chapter 20/21/22 - October..
